Woman software engineer dies in Noida

A woman in her late twenties, who had recently married, was found dead in her Sector-11 residence in Noida.

Police identified the woman as Krishna Kotwal, an engineer. Her husband Lalit Mohan, also an engineer, claimed she committed suicide. But Krishna’s family alleged she was killed for dowry. No arrests have been made so far, police said.

Krishna worked in Gurgaon, while Mohan works in Sector-62, Noida. The two had married in March this year, police said.

Police said when they arrived at the scene, the body was lying in the courtyard of the house.
