Greater Noida News (25/07/2026): Gautam Buddha University (GBU) has entered into a strategic partnership with Max Healthcare Institute Limited by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing collaboration in medical education, scientific research, healthcare innovation, and academic development. The agreement was signed on July 23, 2026, marking the beginning of a long-term association between one of the region’s leading public universities and one of India’s prominent healthcare providers.
The collaboration seeks to create a robust framework that integrates academic learning with practical healthcare expertise. Through this partnership, both institutions will jointly work on initiatives related to faculty and student exchange programmes, collaborative research projects, academic counselling, scientific conferences, workshops, internships, training programmes, and knowledge-sharing activities. The agreement also opens avenues for interdisciplinary research and innovation, enabling students and researchers to gain valuable exposure to clinical practices and emerging healthcare technologies.
University officials said the partnership is designed to bridge the gap between academia and the healthcare industry by combining academic excellence with real-world medical experience. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Rana Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor of Gautam Buddha University, emphasized the growing importance of collaborations between educational institutions and the healthcare sector. He said such partnerships play a vital role in advancing medical education, scientific research, and innovation. According to him, the association with Max Healthcare will provide students, faculty members, and researchers with access to advanced research opportunities, clinical exposure, professional training, and industry-oriented skill development. He expressed confidence that the collaboration would significantly contribute to healthcare education, interdisciplinary research, and the preparation of future-ready healthcare professionals.

Representing Max Healthcare Institute Limited, Dr. Vinita Jha, Director (Academics and Research), Ms. Vanita Mittal, Mr. Jay Prakash Pandey, along with other senior officials, attended the MoU signing ceremony and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to fostering academic and research collaborations with leading educational institutions.
Several senior officials from Gautam Buddha University were also present during the signing ceremony. These included Prof. Rajeev Varshney, Dean Academics; Prof. Chandra Kumar Singh, Registrar (I/C); Prof. S. Dhanalakshmi, Dean, Planning and Research; Dr. Indu Uprety, Dean, School of Management; Dr. Sushil Kumar, Dean of Student Affairs; Dr. Chintala Venkata Sivasai, Director, International Affairs; and Dr. Rekha Puria, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, besides faculty members, university officers, and administrative staff.
