Greater Noida News (30 July 2026): Ursuline Convent Senior Secondary School, Greater Noida, hosted its flagship Commerce Conclave, TradeVerse – Ursuline Confluence 2026,, bringing together students from 18 schools for a day dedicated to trade, entrepreneurship, innovation, and global commerce. The event featured engaging competitions, insightful keynote sessions, and interactive learning experiences aimed at preparing students for the evolving business landscape.
The conclave commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, CA Dr. G.S. Grewal, followed by a walkthrough of the immersive “From the Silk Route to AI: The Evolution of Global Commerce” exhibition. Students showcased the historical transformation of global trade through creative presentations before the dignitaries.
The formal ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a graceful prayer dance, and the felicitation of distinguished guests. Rev. Sr. Rekha Punia, Principal of Ursuline Convent Senior Secondary School, welcomed the gathering and officially declared TradeVerse – Ursuline Confluence 2026 open.
Delivering the keynote address, Chief Guest CA Dr. G.S. Grewal captivated the audience with an inspiring message on lifelong learning, adaptability, teamwork, and leadership.
Opening his address with heartfelt appreciation, Dr. Grewal said he was “short of words” after witnessing the school’s exceptional hospitality and meticulous planning. The moment I entered the school, my experience has been amazing. I sincerely thank the school management, Principal Rev. Sr. Rekha .
Introducing himself as a lifelong learner, he remarked: I am a student of Law and Accountancy. I call myself a student because a student is always willing to learn and enhance knowledge. That is what our aim should be—to keep learning throughout life.
He praised TradeVerse for providing students with opportunities to strengthen organisational, analytical, managerial, presentation, and public speaking skills, urging participants to make the most of every experience. Dr. Grewal also appreciated the students’ creative presentation on the Silk Route and the opening prayer dance, calling them “marvellous” and a reflection of the dedication and hard work invested by the organising team.
Speaking to the participants, he emphasised that success should not be measured solely by trophies. Winning is not the most important thing. Increasing your knowledge and developing your skills matter far more. Every participant has gained something valuable through this experience.bStressing the significance of teamwork, he drew an analogy with cricket. No single player wins a cricket match. It is the combined effort of players, coaches, and support staff. Life is the same. First learn to be a good team member, and then become a good team leader.
Encouraging students to embrace change, he concluded with a powerful message: The day we stop learning, our downfall begins. We live in a rapidly changing world. If we do not change with time, time will replace us.
The conclave also featured the World Trade Summit 2026 and BrandForge – The Business Revival Challenge, where students showcased their business acumen, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial skills. Winners were felicitated during the prize distribution ceremonies held across both sessions.
The programme was also graced by the Senior Agro Business Leader Rajani Gupta ,, Gajanan Mali, Founder of Ten News Network, as the Guest of Honour.
The programme concluded with the presentation of mementoes to the distinguished guests, a vote of thanks, closing remarks, and the National Anthem. TradeVerse 2026 successfully provided students with meaningful exposure to the realities of modern global commerce while reinforcing the values of innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning, making it a memorable educational experience for everyone present.
