IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2026 to Bring Together 3,000 Exhibitors from 100 Countries at Expo Mart

Greater Noida, October 12, 2026: The 62nd IHGF Delhi Fair – Autumn 2026 is set to begin on October 13 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, bringing together more than 3,000 exhibitors across 17 halls and 900 permanent showrooms. The five-day event, which will run until October 17, is expected to attract overseas buyers from around 100 countries.

Organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) and hosted by India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), the fair will showcase India’s handicrafts, home décor, furnishings, furniture, fashion accessories and lifestyle products to international buyers.

The exhibition will feature 16 product categories, including textiles and linen, carpets and rugs, furniture, fashion jewellery, bags and accessories, lighting, outdoor and garden products, kitchenware, festive décor, bamboo and eco-friendly products, and toys.

EPCH Chairman Dr Neeraj Khanna said the fair has developed into a trusted sourcing platform for international buyers and Indian exporters over the past three decades. He said the upcoming edition aims to facilitate business networking and partnerships between global buyers, exporters and artisans.

Khanna also highlighted the opportunities emerging from India’s trade agreements with countries and economic blocs, including the UAE, Australia, the UK, Oman, New Zealand and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). He said these agreements could improve market access for Indian handicraft exporters, with strong buyer participation expected from European markets.

Young designers, regional crafts to feature

The fair will include several curated attractions, such as a Trend Booth, the Young Designers’ Collective, regional craft displays and collections by handloom weavers and handicraft artisanpreneurs from across India.

According to EPCH Vice Chairman Sagar Mehta, the event will feature products from leading manufacturing clusters, emerging start-ups and regional artisan groups, including participants from the Northeast. The Young Designers’ Collective will showcase designers who have established foundations at leading design institutes.

The organisers have also planned knowledge sessions under the banner The Higher Quest, covering emerging global buying trends for 2027, artificial intelligence in production and sourcing, AI-driven online visibility for exporters, and compliance with European Union regulations on deforestation and packaging waste.

Other sessions will focus on India’s free trade agreements, market access opportunities and financial and market-support initiatives for handicraft exporters.

Global and domestic retailers expected to attend

EPCH Executive Director Rajesh Rawat said buyers from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are expected to attend.

Companies and retail groups that have confirmed their participation include Walmart Global Sourcing India, Target, TJX Companies, HomeGoods, Welspun, Homecentre, Landmark Group and other international buyers.

The fair is also expected to attract major Indian retailers and online brands, including Reliance Retail, Trent, Fabindia, Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle International, Miniso, Lulu Group, Aditya Birla Fashion and Archies.

The organisers said international promotional campaigns, overseas trade-show participation and buyer outreach initiatives have been undertaken to encourage participation from key markets.

Handicraft exports at Rs 33,168 crore

The fair comes as India continues to promote its handicraft sector in international markets. According to EPCH, India’s total handicraft exports stood at Rs 33,168 crore, equivalent to approximately US$3.754 billion, during the financial year 2025–26.

The organisers said the exhibition aims to help exporters connect with international buyers, present new collections and develop long-term sourcing relationships through direct business interactions and customised product offerings.
