RYAN GREATER NOIDA CELEBRATED WORLD RED CROSS DAY

The students of Ryan International School Greater Noida, celebrated WORLD RED CROSS DAY.  The students presented a talk show  and discuss about the significance, importance, motto, priorities and contributions of Red Cross in the society.  World Red Cross day is an annual celebration of the principles of international Red Cross day and red crescent movement . World Red Cross day is celebrated on 8th may each year. This date is the anniversary of the birth of Henry Dunant the founder of international Red Cross society. The first Red Cross day was celebrated on 8th may 1948 .

They also discussed how Red Cross Society has actively helping out in devastating earth quake in Nepal and floods came in Kashmir and the relief measure carried out by Red Cross.  Students were highly motivated and took pledge to uphold the motto of Red Cross in their lives and promised to support and help the society in the advent of any disaster.

The principal appreciated the informative talk show and the efforts of the students and motivated them to show their concern for the society and world.
