New Delhi : Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday said that Arvind Kejriwal had to face a lot of difficulties after joining politics, yet he sacrificed everything for the people of the national capital and in return the BJP has called him a “terrorist”.

“I understand that BJP hates Arvind Kejriwal but he is the chief minister of a state and using such a derogatory remarks for a state chief shows their state of mind.”

Since beginning of the election campaign, Parvesh Verma along with other BJP leaders are using such derogatory language. I strongly sense that there is a conspiracy going on to disturb the environment of Delhi and to polarize the peoples. We had complained to Election Commission over the issue and tomorrow again a delegation of our leaders will visit Election Commission’s office.

Election Commission of India had earlier ordered removal of Parvesh Verma from the list of star campaigners of BJP for Delhi Assembly elections. Verma had sparked a massive controversy with his provocative remark against the protesters of Shaheen Bagh area.
