AAP-BJP rift makes Delhi suffer: Ajay Maken

NEW DELHI : Expressing concerns following the failure of the MCD and Delhi government in forming committees, Congress leader Ajay Maken today while speaking at a press conference said that rift between AAP and BJP are making people of Delhi suffer.

“It has been almost two months since MCD polls were announced, but unfortunately, because of the rift between AAP and BJP, there hasn’t been any consensus in order to for the committees through with the Municipal Corporation functions,” Ajay Maken said.

“It is very irresponsible on part of both the parties to keep such a pressing issue, when people need it the most, on hold and engage in the war or words,” he said adding that, “there is a need to come to consensus and to form the committees though with MCD can function properly.”
