New Delhi, 11th June 2023: On Sunday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a massive rally against the Centre’s Ordinance on control over administrative services in the national capital at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan.
The leader of the AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, addressed the crowd of thousands. Kejriwal blasted the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central government for enacting an ordinance that will devastate law and order in the national capital.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Delhi Minister Gopal Rai, and party MP Sanjay Singh are among those attending the gathering. Former Union Minister and eminent lawyer Kapil Sibal also addressed the protest and discussed the Ordinance’s legal and constitutional implications.
CM Kejriwal added that the Ordinance was brought in Delhi today, and if not fought, it will also be brought to other states.
He added that his party’s movement against corruption was successful; similarly, the movement to save the Constitution will also be successful.
