AAP leader climbs tower after being denied him ticket for MCD polls

New Delhi, Nov 13, 2022: On Sunday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Haseeb-ul-Hasan climbed a transmission tower in Delhi after the party denied him a ticket with regard to the upcoming Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections.

Haseeb-ul-Hasan shared that he was angry as he did not get a ticket from AAP for the upcoming MCD polls. The AAP leader kept saying that ‘No poll ticket, won’t come down.’

Haseeb-ul-Hasan went on to claim that AAP leaders had cheated him by cancelling his ticket at the last minute.

An AAP councillor from East Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar, he expected that he will get the ticket from this constituency as he was asked to submit all the documents. He also said that his original documents has not been returned to him.

However, this is not the first time he has taken such a step. In March, Haseeb-ul-Hasan had jumped into a drain to clean it, after which he took a milk bath. Haseeb-ul-Hasan is well-known for taking dramatic steps every time.
