New Delhi, 27 April 2022: The Aam Aadmi Party has decided to stage a protest outside the BJP’s Delhi office targeting the party’s threats to send bulldozers for demolishing houses and shops if a bribe is not paid for construction work.
The Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had accused the BJP workers of visiting door to door in Delhi, collecting money from individuals and threatening that if they do not give enough money, bulldozers will come to their house and destroy the home and business.
The AAP would unite its team and join forces with Delhi residents to fight the BJP. The MCD has the power to demolish every single house erected in Delhi,” said AAP MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak.
While a BJP spokesperson denied the allegations, claiming that the Delhi government is free to conduct its political activities, the people of Delhi are well aware that the party is a gang of power-hungry hoodlums whose councillors have been implicated in corruption and inflaming communal tensions over the last two years.
