ACME felicitated with CBIP Award 2015 For Best Contribution in Solar Energy Award conferred by Sushri Uma Bharti, Hon’ble Union Minister

New Delhi, 31 December 2015: ACME, the leading solar power generator in India has been conferred the Central Board of Irrigation and Power Award 2015 for Best Contribution in Solar Energy for outstanding contribution to teh nation in development of clean renewable energy and being largest solar producer in country.

Mr Prashant Panda, President, ACME – Solar Business was felicitated with the award by Sushri Uma Bharti, Hon’ble Union Minister, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation.  This award recognises enterprises that have driven innovation and brought value to the industry and the society through disruptive measures in the field of clean energy.

Accepting the award on behalf of ACME solar business team, Mr Panda said, “It is an honour to recevie this award as a recognition of the efforts of an Indian firm in the field of clean energy generation.  He further upped the pledge towards clean energy in the country and added, “At this platform, we commit ourselves towards making India the leader in the solar power sector for the world to emulate.”

Earlier this year, ACME had also been conferred with the award for ‘Leading Renewable Energy Developers – Solar’, at the Renewable Energy India Awards 2015.
