African Woman Who Reported Fake Assault Will Be Sent Back To Kenya

In last week’s Wednesday an African Woman named Maria Burendi made allegation of assault by 4-5 unknown men. She claimed that while she was travelling in an Ola cab, it was stopped by some miscreants who pulled her out and misbehaved. This incident was reported immediately after another unfortunate incident of thrashing few African students in a mall. Hence an immediate enquiry was ordered which after going through all evidences concluded that Kenyan Woman was lying.
Association of African Students in India (AASI) as well as Kenyan Embassy has taken the fake report incident very seriously. Owing to good relationship between India and Kenya, the Indian government didn’t want to deport the woman on its own. However Kenya High Commission in India is of view that such fake complaints would further widen the trust-deficit that already exists in India.
So Kenyan woman is being sent back as an example of good will, where the Kenyan government wants to reassure that no fake attempts of making India look bad would be tolerated by them.
