After two months, Shrikant Tyagi released on bail

Noida, 21st October, 2022: Shrikant Tyagi was released from custody on Thursday around 6.30 p.m. after being detained for over two months. The Allahabad High Court granted him bail on Monday.

However, accused of misbehaviour with woman, Tyagi recieved a heroic welcome at his housing society in Sector 93. Flower petals were thrown at him, and he was garlanded, as his supporters chanted ‘Shrikant Tyagi zindabad’ and ‘Shrikant Bhaiya Zinadabad’.

Shrikant expressed gratitude to the Tyagi community, saying, “It was obvious that I would get bail because I had to come home. If there is a fight and someone has to go to jail, it is only natural that he will get bail because he will not remain in jail forever.”

Anu Tyagi, Shrikant’s wife, stated, “We are grateful to the Tyagi community for their unending support. We will distribute sweets to all of our supporters. Diwali will be special for me and my children because we will be celebrating with him.”
