Aiming for record of 50 Half Marathon in 50 days, EME Ultra Marathon visits ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida

Today at ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida Corps of Electronic and Mechanical engineers of Indian Army is celebrating their Platinum Jublee. The fraternity of corps of EME Popularly called as ‘The Eagles’ is organized with the best skilled technician and engineers of the Indian Army.

Celebrating their Platinum Day they had organized a Ultra Marathon under which a team of 10 members is running for creating a national and Asian record for running 50 half marathons in 50 days.

The contingent is lead by Lt Col Vishal Ahlawat with 10 other members who start their run from different places according to their finishing point which is usually some school or institution.

During his interaction with students he introduced his members and with the help of PowerPoint presentation briefed about their achievements in different adventurous sports as he himself had no of nation records and also participated in Mt Everest Summit (climbed in 2016), National record creator for Cycling from Leh(Kashmir) to Kannyakumari in 18 Days (recorded in limca book of records).

During this Executive Director of ITS Engineering College Vikas Singh congratulated the Army Jawans for core of his heart and said whole ITS family is with them in their campaign of clean and green India.
