Akshay shatters Guinness World Record, takes most number of selfies

Mumbai (India), 23rd February 2023: Bollywood star and actor Akshay Kumar on Wednesday broke the Guinness World record for most selfies taken in three minutes. The actor also grooved with his fans and took paparazzi pictures posing with the plaque that was given to him.

Akshay Kumar who has been hustling to promote his upcoming movie ‘Selfie’ said that as a tribute to his fans stating that they are responsible for his fame and accomplishments in life took 184 selfies in 3 minutes.

He uploaded a video on his Instagram page and included a heartfelt caption thanking his fans for their relentless support throughout the years. The record was previously held by American Star Dwayne Johnson who took 105 selfies in 2015 while promoting his movie San Andreas.

Akshay Kumar said, “ Ab selfies hi selfies hongi” while promoting his movie starring Imran Hashmi as a co-star, Imran plays a fan turned nemesis of Akshay Kumar who plays the role of an entitled celebrity in the movie. The movie ‘Selfie’ is a remake of a Malayali movie ‘Driving License’ and will hit theatres on February 23rd.
