AKTU-NASSCOM Sign MoU to Provide Employability Enhancement Programs to Students

Today Dr. APJ AKTU signed an MoU with IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council NASSCOM (SSC NASSCOM) to launch ‘Employability Enhancement Programs’ (EEP). The strategic alliance took place at NASSCOM office in Noida.

The strategic alliance with IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council NASSCOM (SSC NASSCOM) aims to offer programs to undergraduate students either as an elective course to an existing course, or as an add-on program with the goal to enhance their employability skills.

Under this MoU, SSC NASSCOM will provide guidelines and recommendations related to program particulars, such as faculty selection, student selection, infrastructure for training, and evaluation. Post successful completion of the trainings SSC NASSCOM, as the awarding body shall also participate in the assessment & certification process.

The QP certification will be conjunction with the Ministry of Skill development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and NSDC (National Skills development Corporation).
Commenting on this association, Dr. Vinay Kumar Pathak, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Dr. APJ AKTU said, “We are excited about the association with SSC NASSCOM which will help us produce industry ready engineers and equip our faculty with state of the art technology. This will allow us to further provide faculty with the ability to build technical expertise with experiential learning on state of art technologies which will help in enhancing student employability.”

Vineet Kansal Dean ,Undergraduate Studies and Entrepreneurship of Dr. APJ AKTU further added, “With NASSCOM industry associations and AKTU affiliated engineering colleges can create the ecosystem to facilitate students and professors alike to stay a step ahead of the conventional mode of both teaching and learning.”
