New Delhi: 43 peacocks found dead at Maruthakulam near Madurai, today. S.Arumugam, the Range Officer at Madurai Wildlife Range, said ‘Peacocks may have consumed paddy grains laced with poison on Friday night. We have received postmortem reports. Investigation is underway.’
