All schools to remain shut in UP till 30th April after CM’s order

Greater Noida :  As Covid 19 cases continue to raise Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath’s order to shut all schools till 30th April. However, the pre-scheduled exam will continue as per the schedule, he clarified. While teachers and school staff would be called to school as per the requirement.

Earlier, it was announced that students of classes 1 to 8 studying in UP government schools would be promoted to the next class without appearing for any exams. Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand issued instructions in this regard to all District Basic Education Officers on Tuesday.

Apart from that on Saturday evening Yogi Aditynath conducted a crucial meeting with officials regarding the Covid situation in the state. After that he directed officials to impose restrictions on crowd gatherings in the state during the upcoming festivals of Ramzan and Navratri. And only five people will be allowed to enter at once in a religious place.

He emphasized the doorstep delivery model in containment zones so that essentials items can be easily provided to the public. All this should be managed through an integrated control and command centre.

Uttar Pradesh reported 12,787 new coronavirus cases in the state’s highest single-day spike on Saturday. With this, the Covid-19 tally in the state has reached 6,76,739, according to the state health department.
