All unaffiliated schools in GB Nagar to be shut down

A day after a wall collapsed inside the premises of a Noida school, killing one student and injuring several others, Gautam Budh Nagar district magistrate Chandra Kant asked education officials to ensure a complete ban on unaffiliated and unauthorised schools that violate the right to education act by flouting security norms.

Police on Thursday night nabbed Praveen, one of the two accused who owns the construction site where the wall collapsed on Ram Chandra Junior school students.
