Amit Shah mortgaged properties to secure credit for son Jay Shah’s Kusum Finserve: Congress

New Delhi: After the wire story BJP President Amit Shah claimed that temple enterprises hadn’t conducted business of a single rupee with government , had not acquired government land worth a single rupee, had not taken any government also.

Congress on Saturday, launched a Scathing attack on BJP President Amit Shah by stating that Amit Shah mortgaged two of his properties for his son Jay Shah’s business venture Kusum Finserve, which has recorded sudden increase in credit facilities, despite its poor finances from Rs 25 crore to Rs 97 crore in the past one year.

 

Addressing the Media, Senior Congress leader, Jairam Ramesh, said,

“After Temple Enterprises was shutdown, another company of Amit Shah’s son- Kusum Finserve was established by mortgaging Amit Shah’s properties. Till date, Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah’s Kusum Finserve has not submitted any annual report to the government. Kusum finserve have taken loans from different banks. While taking loan kusum have taken 2 plot lands and a commercial building have kept them as a collateral for loans. The owner of this land is not jay shah but amit shah. The son has taken 95 crore loan on his dad’s name.”

He further said, “Kusum Finserve, which has no experience in Energy sector, received a loan of approx Rs. 10.5Cr by IREDA. when Piyush Goyal was the Minister of Power. Kalupur Bank of Gujarat, a commercial cooperative bank, of which one of the shareholders is Gujarat’s Deputy CM Nitinbhai patel , has given credit worth Rs 25Cr to Kusum Finserve.”

“We will go to the Election Commission to demand action against BJP President who omitted to mention liabilities in his election affidavit,” added Jairam.
