Amit Shah Said BJP yet to reach its peak despite success in Lok Sabha polls: Bhupendra Yadav

New Delhi: BJP president and now Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday chaired a meeting with party leaders including former Chief Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Raman Singh and Vasundhara Raje, General Secretaries Kailash Vijayvargiya, Bhupender Yadav and JP Nadda as well as state Bharatiya Janata Party chiefs.



After the Meeting, Bhupender Yadav, a Rajya Sabha MP from Rajasthan addressing the media said,

“After 2014, the number of BJP members increased to 11 crore and more than 10 lakh members were given duly training.
Amit shah ji said that the party has not yet reached its 2019 of 303 seats in the election despite its electoral performance in terms of peak.

Attributing the party’s success in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls to party workers, Yadav said Shah credited the hard work of the crores of party supporters for the BJP getting more than 50 per cent vote share in 220 seats.

He further said, “We are going to start the campaign to find new members and for this, the party has appointed Shivraj Chauhan as the convener of the membership campaign.with him, Dushyant Gautam, Suresh Pujari, Arun Chaturvedi and Shobha Surendran are appointed as co-convenor.”

“BJP has 11 crore members at present and is aiming to increase it by 20 per cent,” added Yadav.
