Construction Week – a leading magazine in the construction and infrastructure space has presented L&T Group Chairman A M Naik with its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award ceremony took place at a premier hotel in Mumbai on 26th November 2021. The award was chosen by the Global Editorial Board of ITP Media Group that publishes Construction Week.
The award salutes excellence and is presented each year to eminent industry leaders who have significantly contributed to advancement in the field of construction. The citation accompanying the Lifetime Achievement Award highlights the role that Naik has played for multiple decades in industry and stresses his influence in fostering professional excellence across the field. It describes Naik as a ‘towering figure in the realm of construction’ and a leader who ‘shines the light for all those who aspire for excellence’.
Accepting the award, Naik said that L&T was proud to be “in a position to contribute to nation building by
successfully executing some of the largest, most complex and precedent-setting projects in India.” Pointing to L&T’s role in executing projects of national significance, he urged young construction professionals to commit themselves “to the great task of building the India of the future.”
The Construction Week Award is the latest in an array of trophies and medals won by Naik across his long and distinguished professional career.
