annual international film festival – Vivekananda Institute.
Cinephile, the first annual international film festival of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, started with a bang today- September 18 on the campus of the institution.
The inaugural event was graced with the presence of eminent documentary film maker Mr R V Ramani; Mrs Sushma Parcha, President, The Social Circle; Mr Ram Kishore Parche, Founder President, Delhi International Film Festival and Prof Satish Chitravanshi, film critic.
Appreciating the efforts of the institute, Mr R. K. Parche said, “Team Cinephile has done a commendable job in its first year. Innovative step like live streaming in its inception is worth applauding. Looking at the efforts, we can expect a bright future for Cinephile.”
Post inauguration, the screening of the films critically selected by the esteemed jury began. Later in the day, the master class by Mr. Ramani was conducted with the attendance of more than 60 students from different universities across Delhi.
We look forward to the next day of the festival with an exponentially high enthusiasm and with a uncomprehending craving for films to come.
