#Indian Muslims will live and die for #India, PM @NarendraModi says

It is possible for the US and India to develop a genuinely strategic alliance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said in his first interview after assuming office.

In his interview, given to CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, Modi has talked about a host of issues including India-US relations and recent announcement of al-Qaida’s decision to open a South Asia wing.

Talking about India-US relations, Modi admitted that there has been many ups and downs over the centuries. Modi expressed confidence that India-US ties will deepen further.

When asked about al-Qaida video appealing to Indian Muslims to join its jihad, Modi said that “If anyone thinks Indian Muslims will dance to their tune, they are delusional”.
