Articrafts India’s Savina Sharan Shares Her Vision and Wins Bronze at Handicrafts Fair

Greater Noida (20 April 2025): The 59th edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair, one of the world’s largest fairs for home, lifestyle, fashion, furniture, and textiles, organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), commenced at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The fair was officially inaugurated by Giriraj Singh, Union Minister of Textiles, Government of India, who also toured the exhibition halls and interacted with various participants, showcasing India’s rich handicraft heritage. NDMC vice chairperson Kuljeet Chahal has visited the fair on 19th April in the award giving ceremony he awarded all the awardees.he visited the fair and took the round of the fair.
In an exclusive interaction with Ten News Network, Savina Sharan, founder of Articrafts India, shared insights into her brand’s unique offerings and her vision for the future. Sharan was also honored with a Bronze Award in the category of Best Designs in Handmade Paperwork at the recently concluded fair.
Sharan spoke passionately about her products, highlighting their distinctiveness and appeal to international markets. We create highly embellished and unique paper products. Our range includes gift wraps, paper bags, gift boxes, and a variety of dog-themed decorative items, she said, adding that their clientele spans across Europe and America.
Discussing the uniqueness of her creations, she emphasized the quality and craftsmanship involved. What makes us truly different is the finishing of our products. We don’t just stick to traditional Indian designs; we innovate. The glitter we use is long-lasting and doesn’t fall off, and the textures and colors we incorporate show our deep understanding of design aesthetics, she explained. Sharan also pointed out that their pricing is competitive and backed by over 25 years of experience in the industry.
On the response to the fair, Sharan expressed her delight, saying, The response has been excellent. We received buyers from the U.S., Germany, and other European countries. Interestingly, there were also several volume buyers from India, which was a pleasant surprise.
Winning the Bronze Award for Best Designs in Handmade Paperwork was a moment of pride for her. It feels amazing to receive this recognition. My ultimate dream is to one day receive an award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Every product we make is 100% Made in India using Indian materials, she proudly stated.

Provisional export figures for handicrafts during the financial year 2024-25 stand at Rs. 33,490.79 Crores (US $3959.86 Million), according to Mr. R. K. Verma, Executive Director of EPCH – a testament to the growing global appeal of India’s artisanal heritage. As the fair unfolds, exhibitors will continue to push the boundaries of creativity, sustainability, and craftsmanship, strengthening India’s position in the global handicraft marketplace.
