Arvind Kejriwal resorting to ‘diversionary tactics, accusations’ out of desperation: Delhi LG Saxena

Delhi, Sept 2nd,2022: Amid ongoing political turmoil in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) MLAs have accused Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena of corruption worth Rs. 1,400 crores and demanded an inquiry against him, whereas Saxena has ordered defamation proceedings against MLAs for false charges.

Moreover, retaliating to the accusations made by the Kejriwal-led party, Saxena has said that the Delhi CM has resorted to using ‘diversionary tactics and false accusations’ out of desperation.

“I called for good governance, zero tolerance for corruption, and better services for the people of Delhi. But unfortunately, Hon’ble CM @Arvind Kejriwal in desperation has resorted to diversionary tactics and false accusations”, LG Saxena posted on Twitter.

He further added that he would not be surprised if more such baseless attacks are made on him and his family.

Dismissing Kejriwal’s claims, Saxena said that he would not defer from his constitutional duties and work towards improving the lives of people in the city.

AAP has alleged a 1,400 crores scam and have demanded a CBI probe against him.
Officials at the LG office reported on Thursday that Saxena would be suing the party members for defamation.
