Atal Incubation Centre launched by BIMTECH for Uttar Pradesh and NCR Delhi

Yesterday BIMTECH Birla Institute of Management Technology), Greater Noida, had organized the Centre’s commencement ceremony for “Atal Incubation Centre – BIMTECH” which has been selected and funded by the NITI Ayog, Government of India This centre is a one-of-a- kind academia, industry and government partnership to provide high class incubation facilities.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge), MoS – Environment Forest and Climate Change, and the Member of Parliament from Greater Noida was the chief guest for the event and inaugurated the Atal Incubation Centre- BIMTECH by cutting the ribbon and cake thereafter. Dr. Abha Rishi, Chairperson of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneur Development and who is also the CEO of The Atal Incubation Centre had brifed Dr. Sharma about the functions of Incubation center.

Mr. Kamal Singh, Executive Director- United Nation Global Compact India, was the guest of honor. Mr. Subrat Kumar, CEO Cinque and Mr Aditya Ghildiyal, SVP, Association of Greater Noida Industries and Tejpal Nagar, MLA were the other dignitaries for the occasion. Inauguration of centre was done by light lamping ceremony and program began with the welcome speech of Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi firstly he welcomed the chief guest and thanked him for taking out time from his busy schedule for the event. He said “no one will be better chief guest for the event than our Dr Sharma as he had done a lot of struggle in his early life while setting up the chain of kailash hospital which is also a kind of startup which provided employment to thousand of peoples.

Speaking at the event Dr. Mahesh Sharma told “it’s a very proud moment not only for BIMTECH but also for our district as 3700 applications were received in total by NITI Aayog , out of which 13 were shortlisted In the whole country out of only 1 got funding in our District. Such initiatives are making the youth empowered to give back to the society. BIMTECH is the think tank and the wisdom that comes out of the innovations need to go back to the society so that we leave a rich legacy behind. “

Dr Sharma was also facilitated with the memento and presented a photo frame featuring his photograph clicked by the personal photographer of BIMTECH. Program ended with National Anthem
