Greater Noida (06 August 2025): The Ayuryog Expo and the inaugural Eldercare India Expo 2025 concluded on a high note at the India Expo Centre & Mart (IEML), showcasing the growing relevance of traditional wellness, Ayurveda, yoga, and eldercare in India’s health ecosystem.

In an exclusive interview with Ten News Network, Dr. Rakesh Kumar,Chairman of India Expo Mart, the chief organiser and visionary behind the event, shared key highlights, visitor and exhibitor feedback, and the roadmap for an even larger health-centric expo in 2026.

Ayuryog Expo: A Celebration of India’s Ancient Wellness Heritage

Dr. Kumar shared that the Ayuryog Expo, now in its seventh year, continues to serve as a premier platform for practitioners and promoters of Ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy, Siddha, and other forms of traditional Indian medicine.

Ayuryog Expo is not just an exhibition; it’s a celebration of our ancient wellness heritage. This platform brings together stakeholders from across India and abroad who believe in holistic healing and sustainable health practices, said Dr. Rakesh Kumar.

This year’s four-day Ayuryog Expo featured live demonstrations, panel discussions, product showcases, and wellness sessions. Various organisations, research institutions, and wellness companies showcased natural therapies, herbal supplements, yoga practices, and health products. The event attracted a mix of healthcare professionals, wellness entrepreneurs, students, and wellness-conscious individuals.

Eldercare India Expo 2025: A Much-Needed Initiative for a Growing Demographic

Making its debut this year, the Eldercare India Expo 2025 ran alongside the Ayuryog Expo for three days, with the objective of highlighting the increasing importance of elderly care in India.

With the elderly population in India rapidly increasing, there is a growing need to address their health, mobility, and emotional well-being. The Eldercare India Expo is our response to that need, explained Dr. Rakesh Kumar. This initiative was well received not just by service providers and caregivers but also by policymakers. We were honored to have Union Minister Ramdas Athawale present during the valedictory session. His support adds a lot of credibility and momentum to our vision.

The event witnessed participation from hospitals, elder care product manufacturers, NGOs, homecare service providers, and insurance companies. Free health check-up camps were organised in collaboration with Vivekananda Hospital and Asian Hospital, which served hundreds of senior citizens during the event. Prominent personalities like Padma Shri Dr. Pandey, Chairman of Asian Hospital, also attended and endorsed the need for such platforms that prioritise the welfare of senior citizens.

Positive Response from Stakeholders

According to Dr. Kumar, both expos received overwhelming responses from exhibitors, visitors, and industry stakeholders.

The footfall exceeded our expectations. Ayuryog has already carved a niche, but the kind of response we received for the first Eldercare India Expo shows that people are ready for such focused events. Our healthcare and wellness ecosystem is evolving, he stated. The expo featured hundreds of exhibitors and drew thousands of visitors over their respective durations. The mix of B2B and B2C interactions ensured valuable networking and collaborations.

Looking Ahead: Launch of WellFest 2026

Based on the success of this year’s events, Dr. Rakesh Kumar announced a transformative move — the launch of a larger, more inclusive health and wellness event titled WellFest 2026. Scheduled for August 3–6, 2026, this upcoming mega expo aims to consolidate and expand upon the themes of Ayuryog and Eldercare.

We are bringing all energies together under one bigger, bolder umbrella. WellFest 2026 will integrate four verticals: Ayurveda & traditional medicine, elder care, women’s wellness, and fitness. It will not only be an exhibition but a movement — a national platform to promote holistic well-being, said Dr. Rakesh Kumar enthusiastically.

He added that the new format will introduce expanded product categories, advanced wellness technologies, interactive sessions, fitness demonstrations, and expert-led workshops.

With the resounding success of both Ayuryog Expo and the first Eldercare India Expo, the foundation has been laid for India’s biggest wellness and eldercare platform in the form of WellFest 2026. As health and well-being continue to gain priority in both personal and policy spaces, such expos are poised to play a crucial role in shaping a healthier, more inclusive future.
