Baba Ramdev’s food park project near Noida Airport to kick-off next week, employment for 1 lakh people on cards

Greater Noida: Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali on Monday deposited the outstanding amount of Rs 231 crore to Yamuna Authority for its ambitious food park and Ayurveda park project. The amount was paid in addition to Rs. 100 crores that the company paid last year.

With this, the company is set to begin the construction of these projects by next week on a 430 acre land allocated to it by the authority.

Out of this, 300 acre land has been allocated for the food park and 130 acres for the Ayurveda park.

These projects will be situated near the upcoming Noida Airport in Sector 24 and 24A.

Under the food park project, food items and medicines will be made by processing fruits, vegetables, medicines and agricultural products.

As per the state government, these projects will give direct and indirect employment to about one lakh people and will also help the farmers of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and Rajasthan.
