New Delhi (15/01/2022): Election Commission has further banned poll rallies & roadshows in poll-bound states till 22nd January. Earlier the ban on rallies and road shows was announced till Jan 15.
However, as a relaxation this time, ECI has allowed political parties to hold indoor meetings with a maximum of 300 persons or 50% of the capacity of the hall.
Meanwhile, the poll campaign through virtual medium is ongoing at rapid pace in all states. At multiple places, violation of Covid-19 guidelines was also reported by different sections of media
