New Delhi, 5 September 2022: The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina is visiting India from Monday for a four-day visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
As per her schedule, Hasina and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have extensive discussions on improving bilateral relations.
Following this, the two parties are expected to announce a number of initiatives to further their partnership in the fields of commerce, river-water sharing, and defense.
Darshana Jardosh, Union Minister received Hasina at the airport and maintained that the trip will further solidify the intricate ties that already exist between the two nations.
Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan, Liberation War Minister AKM Mozammel Haq, and PM’s economic affairs advisor Mashiur AKM Rahman make up Hasina’s delegation.
Soon after, the vice president Jagdeep Dhankhar and the president Droupadi Murmu will also receive host prime minister of Bangladesh.
There has been an overall improvement in India and Bangladesh’s strategic relations.
