Greater Noida News (13 May 2026): As thousands of students across the country begin planning their higher education journey after the declaration of Class 12 board examination results, the third edition of Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 is all set to emerge as one of India’s biggest education and career guidance platforms. The three-day mega education event will be organised from May 14 to May 16, 2026, at the prestigious India Expo Centre & Mart.

Designed as a comprehensive platform for students, parents, educators and academic institutions, Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 aims to bridge the gap between aspirations and opportunities by bringing leading universities, schools, edtech companies, counsellors and industry experts under one roof. The event is expected to witness participation from thousands of students seeking clarity on courses, colleges, career options and future-ready skills.

The expo comes at a crucial time when students who have completed or appeared for Class 12 examinations are preparing to make important decisions regarding admissions and career pathways. Alongside them, students from Classes 9 to 12 will also get exposure to stream selection guidance, career counselling and emerging opportunities in new-age sectors.

A major attraction of this year’s edition will be the collaboration with the Federation of Education in India (FEII), which will host the “Vishwa Guru Sammelan” — a national and international dialogue platform dedicated to discussions on India’s educational transformation and its vision of becoming a global knowledge leader.

The event will feature participation from renowned institutions including IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, Amity University, Sharda University, KIET Group of Institutions and Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, among several others. More than 50 leading universities and institutions are expected to participate as exhibitors.

Addressing the media, ADM Manglesh Dubey said that Bharat Shiksha Expo has become an important initiative aimed at bringing students, parents, teachers and educational institutions together on a common platform. He stated that students often remain confused after completing Class 10 or 12 regarding which course to pursue, which institution to choose and what career direction would be suitable for them. The expo, he said, has been created to provide answers to those questions through direct interaction with experts and institutions.

Dubey emphasised that earlier generations had limited career choices and even lesser guidance, whereas today’s students are exposed to rapidly evolving fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Environmental Sciences, Creative Writing and many more. He said Bharat Shiksha Expo seeks to create an ecosystem where students can receive the right guidance at the right stage, helping them make informed academic and professional decisions.

He further informed that the district administration, along with the Greater Noida Authority and organisers, is working to ensure massive participation during the event. According to him, the administration is expecting a daily footfall of nearly 20,000 to 25,000 visitors this year, significantly higher than the previous edition, which attracted around 15,000 to 17,000 attendees.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of India Exposition Mart Ltd., said that choosing the right course and institution remains one of the most critical decisions in a student’s academic journey. He noted that Bharat Shiksha Expo will provide students and parents with a reliable and trusted platform where they can interact directly with institutions, counsellors and academic experts before making important educational choices.

He added that the event will not only benefit Class 12 students but will also help younger students who are in the process of selecting subject streams and exploring future career opportunities. By connecting students with educators and institutions, the expo intends to offer meaningful guidance and direction for India’s next generation.

Speaking about the vision behind this year’s edition, Sudeep Sarcar, CEO of India Exposition Mart Ltd., said the event has been planned in a more detailed and skill-oriented manner compared to previous editions. He highlighted that while hackathons and innovation activities were conducted earlier as well, this year’s expo will introduce several expanded initiatives, including Principals’ Meet sessions focused on the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Sudeep Sarcar stated that discussions around Artificial Intelligence, semiconductors and AI-driven transformation in higher education and employment will be among the key highlights of the event. According to him, the expo has evolved based on feedback received from students, exhibitors and universities over the last three editions, making it sharper, more practical and future-focused.

He also underlined the importance of counselling sessions in today’s digital age, where students are exposed to excessive information through the internet and social media but often lack structured guidance. He said the expo aims to ensure students receive proper counselling to help them choose the right career path with confidence.

Abhishek Shukla, Additional General Manager – Special Projects, Bharat Shiksha Expo, said the event has been conceptualised around three important questions for students and parents — what they need, why they need it and how they can achieve it. He explained that while students already understand the importance of admissions and career growth, Bharat Shiksha Expo focuses on guiding them through the “how” aspect by connecting them directly with institutions and counsellors.

Shukla informed that the three-day programme will include expert-led knowledge sessions, masterclasses, panel discussions, counselling sessions and innovation-based competitions. The first day will focus on inauguration ceremonies, NEP-related discussions and sessions led by experts from IIT Madras. The second day will revolve around Artificial Intelligence, transformation in higher education and the Principals-Directors Meet. The final day will feature discussions on “One Nation, One Classroom” along with the valedictory and awards ceremony.

The expo will also host several innovation-driven activities under its “Createthon” initiative, including Hackathon, Launchathon, Agrithon, Ideathon, Codethon and Spacetech competitions. Students participating in these activities will get an opportunity to work on current industry-oriented ideas and develop practical solutions through workshops and collaborative learning.

Other major highlights include SciTech Quiz competitions, AI-driven workshops, design thinking sessions and personalised career counselling programmes. Organisers believe these initiatives will help students understand emerging industry trends and future career opportunities in sectors such as engineering, medicine, law, management, design, liberal arts, data science, AI and vocational education.

The event is aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, which promotes multidisciplinary education, skill development, innovation, digital learning and global competitiveness. Through this platform, Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 aims to create awareness, encourage informed decision-making and empower students to confidently shape their future careers.

With India’s education ecosystem rapidly transforming and new-age career opportunities expanding across industries, Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 is expected to serve as a valuable knowledge and networking platform for students, educators, parents and institutions alike.
