Bharti Kisan Union(Ambawat) meet Yamuna Authority Officials to demand for increased compensation

Bharti Kisan Union (Ambawata) representatives today met officials of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority at its office in Greater Noida.
The farmers are demanding compensation of 64% as has been promised by the authority.However they claim that it has been delayed for long and they want to have an exact date for the release of money.
Authority officials however said that the compensation will be distributed as promised but the process will be done in a phased manner. Authority plans to give away the compensation at the time of physical possession of the land.
Farmer Union did agreed to this proposal however they still insisted to be given an exact date.
Farmers were also agitated on the acquisition of land grabbing levied on them by Jaypee and said that land originally belongs to them and they will give it away only after the money is released.
