Bid floated to hire Architecture Agency for designing new Yamuna Authority office at YEIDA City

Greater Noida (24/06/2019) : The Yamuna Expressway industrial development authority (Yeida) has issued a bid document to hire an architectural agency for designing its new office near the Jewar airport. The office is to come up on land which the authority has planned to mark as a new sector – Sector 18.

Shailendra Bhatia, officer on special duty, Yedia said: the authority has allotted residential plots to its 21 thousand allotes and 1000 thousand industrialist so concerning their proximity and managing development projects under our area a office is planed there .” As of now, Yeida operates from an office in Sector-omega I, Greater Noida.



The YEIDA office, which will be built on a 5 acre land under green norms including solar energy, LED lighting, water harvesting pits etc fulfilling Indian Green Building Council norms. The private agency is expected to make detailed drawings – structural, plumbing, drainage, water supply, sewerage, electrical, electronic, communication systems, elevators, escalators, fire detection, fire protection security systems, etc. and submit its report to Yeida.

The move also gains significance after YEIDA officially named its urban area (24,739 hectares as per Master Plan 2031) as Yeida City on June 13. YEIDA area is spread on 2,688 sq km across six districts of Uttar Pradesh starting from Galgotiya university in Greater Noida to Agra.

The upcoming Noida Internation Airport is at a distance of 28.4 km from zero points of Yamuna Expresway and 7km from sector 18 from where proposed YEIDA office will be built
