BIMTECH hosts Marketing Conference at last day of 8th AIM-AMA Doctoral Consortium

Greater Noida (06/01/2020) : Today, a Marketing Conference was organized at the last day of 8th AIM-AMA Doctoral Consortium at BIMTECH, Greater Noida which took place during 3rd to 6th January, 2020.

The conference witnessed participation from industry and academia experts who shared their perspective on the theme of the conference, “Innovating Customer Experiences in the Digital Age”.

BIMTECH Director Dr. H. Charturvedi, Deputy Director Dr. Anupam Verma, AIM Director Jayant Shah marked their presence in this marketing conference along with eminent industry and academia experts.

The inauguration session began with the welcome address by Dr. H. Chaturvedi who in his address emphasised on the fact that no other B-school in the country apart from BIMTECH has been able to continue this kind of Consortium for a decade. He also introduced BIMTECH as a social organization and listed some of its social initiatives including opening up of a school for poor children’s.

AIM Director Jayanat Shah in his address talked about the transformation of lives in transition from Industry 1.0 to further stages. He also said the the world is moving to Phygital with the customer having digital experiences while being present physically.

The inauguration session was followed by a session with the speakers which was moderated by BIMTECH’s Professor of Marketing Dhruya Chak.

The session started with Creaovate Transformation CEO Alok Bharadwaj who in his address talked about the significance of retaining existing customers due to heavy cost involved in acquiring new customers. He further talked about the 7 stages involved in building customer loyalty towards a brand. Finally he talked about the significance of data in driving customer experiences and later shared a personal experience to emphasize on it.

In his address, Subziwalla CEO Sajal Rastogi shared the 8 pillars of sabjiwala.com and talked about the significance of customer discovery.

At the end, the Vice Chairman of Telangana State Council of Higher Education addressed the gathering and shared some stunning facts about education in Telangana. He said many higher education institutes has been closed in Telangana due to poor quality. He also shared that 60% of students in Telangana are girl students.
