BIMTECH’s outgoing students hail the Institute for providing ample opportunities, stupendous environment
Greater Noida, April 4: On Sunday, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida organised its 34th Convocation day to confer the degrees to the students of batch of 2020-2022.
During the convocation, Ten News interacted with some of the outgoing students from this batches & asked them about their two-year experience at the BIMTECH campus.
Muskan Sharma, who received a gold medal for her all-round performance, expressed gratitude to her family and to BIMTECH, while speaking to Ten News. Sharma said, “I think the overall BIMTECH journey was quite eventful & I believe that I got immense opportunities to develop my skills & to use my talents to become who I’m right now.”
She added that the majority of the learning happened when she joined the Campus, as earlier due to Covid, the Batch commenced online & was later shifted to the offline mode. “MBA took a turn when we joined the hostel; the majority of learning happened when we joined campus.”
“I think the culture that BIMTECH portrays separates it from other colleges, I don’t think any other college in India has this kind of culture,” said Sharma when asked about what she likes the most about the institute.
Another student, Akansha Singhal who received a gold medal for her excellent academic record said, “These two years have been life-changing; I’m groomed as a professional, learned enormous new things, participated in so many events, case studies.”
On being asked about how BIMTECH fared in placements, Singhal said, “This year the placement has been great; the report shows that 99% of the students have been placed.”
Bodshotto Das who pursued PGDM in Marketing said, “Marvelous experience! Met different people here & the entire hostel life was really nice and overwhelming. All and all the entire experience was something to remember & something I’ll take to the grave.”
Deepanshi Panday who pursued PGDM in Finance & was also a part of Cultural Conduit shared her experience & said, “It was really a rollercoaster, meeting deadlines & organizing all the events. Being a part of Cultural Conduit I use to organise different events every month.”
Avinash, who pursued PGDM in Marketing and BSFI hailed the institute for its hospitality. He said, “The hospitality at the college is marvelous, whenever our parents come, there’s always someone to welcome us, even now when my parents came last night they were provided with room & we were very well taken care of.”
When Ten News asked the same students about how BIMTECH has fared in Placements, Bodshotto Das said, “BIMTECH is a very student friendly college; they put a lot of efforts to get you placed & if you are facing any difficulty while giving interviews, they’ll come back with feedback & help you in the placement process for further improvement.”
“We got a lot of opportunities; Covid was going on but still our college managed to provide us a lot of opportunities & big packages,” said Deepanshi Panday.
BIMTECH conferred degrees to 321 students of PGDM in Management, Insurance Business Management, Retail Management & International Management.
