New Delhi (08/12/19) :Today, A massive fire broke out early morning in Delhi’s Anaj Mandi area on Sunday in which at least 43 people have died so far. Rescue and fire department officials have rescued several people, many of whom are in critical condition.
Delhi Police confirmed the huge death toll in the early morning fire in Delhi. Over 56 people have been injured in the fire, according to the last figure. Over 30 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire and to carry out rescue operations.
As the incident was horrific many of the senior leaders like Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri, CM Arvind Kejriwal, BJP leaders Manoj Tiwari and Anurag Thakur reached the site of the Anaj Mandi fire. Others took Twitter to express the grief over incident.

CM Arvind kejriwal reached at the site and also announced ₹10 L assistance to families that lost their loved ones & ₹1 L for the injured.
Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi condoled the loss of lives in the fire accident.
BJP leaders Manoj Tiwari also reached the spot and announced assistance of 5 lakh from BJP. “It is a sad incident. As per initial information, the fire broke out due to short circuit. BJP will provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to families of those who have lost their lives and Rs 25,000 to those who were injured,” Tiwari told reporters after visiting the site.
Cabinet minister in Delhi government, Satyendra Jain praising a fire man for his exemplary work tweeted ”
Fireman Rajesh Shukla is a real hero. He was the first fireman to entered the fire spot and he saved around 11 lives. He did his job till the end despite of his bone injuries. Salute to this brave hero.”
