New Delhi:(11/01/2019) The BJP is ready to lay the final guidelines for thousands of party leaders for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with its two-day National Executive meeting at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on Friday and Saturday. Around 12,000 workers from across the country gathered for the event on Friday which was inaugurated by party chief Amit Shah.
Among the prominent guests present at the meet were- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP veteran LK Advani, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and EAM Sushma Swaraj, and senior party leader Murali Manohar Joshi.
Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari turning poetic at party’s National Convention , sang : “Ram Leela maidan se ho raha mahoorat hai, panch saal ke liye aur Modi ki zaroorat hai”.
Tearing into the Opposition parties, Amit Shah on Friday said that “they” have shown only lip sympathy towards the quota bill that has been passed in the Parliament. Shah said the Modi government has “fulfilled” the dreams of crores of youths with 10 per cent reservation in jobs and education for the general category poor, and described the constitution amendment bill as one of the most important legislations passed by Parliament.
He further said, “BJP government brought NRC under Sarbananda Sonowal’s government in Assam. “NRC is a system to identify illegal migrants in India. In Assam alone, 40 lakh such migrants were identified in the first stage.”
Shah attacking Congress, said ‘Chowkidar’ will not spare any thief
While referring to money laundering accused Mehul Choksi and Nirav Modi, Amit Shah said the Congress keeps asking questions that why these people ran away. “I want to assure the people of this country that this Chowkidar will not spare any thief. We have such effective laws that we will catch and bring them back.”
“There were only two countries which were expert at surgical strikes- US and Israel. Under PM Modi’s leadership, we have joined them,” said Shah while claiming that for the first time, Indian Army avenged the death of soldiers under BJP government.
“The BJP wants to build a grand Ram temple at the earliest and there is no dilemma about it,” added Shah.
