A delegation of opposition leaders in Delhi assembly led by leader of opposition Vijender Gupta met LG today.
The meeting comes after Kapil Mishra levied serious charges against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The delegation apprised Lieutenant Governor of Delhi about the present developments in Delhi politics and requested him to take necessary action.
After meeting the LG Vijender Gupta said, “Arvind Kejriwal has to come to power with promise of fighting corruption but he has done nothing substantial so far. He previously claimed to have proof against Sheila Dixit as well as would allege of wide-scale tanker scam. But even after coming to power he has continued working with those same companies and has in a way shielded the scam. We demand immediate action against Arvind Kejriwal and Sheila Dixit”.
He further said, “people are still not getting water in Delhi and CM himself is a convict in this scam”.
Speaking about Satyender Jain, Vijender Gupta said, ” Jain is a minister in Kejriwal government and he must be completely aware of agriculture land that Satyender Jain has purchased with illegal money. We demand immediate expulsion of him from cabinet and necessary legal action must be taken”.
The delegation has said that LG gave them a patient hearing and have assured them that he will take necessary steps after formally receiving all the documents from concerned authorities.
