BJP’s quick defence of Swiss Bank accounts shocking says Congress
New Delhi: Taking a jibe over the Finance Minister Piyush Goyal statement that all money in the Swiss banks are not black, Congress said before 2014, all the money parked in the foreign banks including Swiss were black but in under the current government all are not.
“It shows the double standard of BJP government and how they are desperate to save their businessmen friends. Without knowing the account details of the account holders in Swiss banks, Finance Minister how quickly defended that all money parked in the Swiss Bank in not black,” said Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi.
She asked, “Before 2014, BJP leaders including PM Modi said that all money in the foreign accounts are black and they will bring it to the country but now when BJP is in power all money are not black.”
A report recently surfaced in the media that Indian money in Swiss bank sort up by 50% in last four years. The BJP government which claimed themselves against back money seems into the backfoot after the report.
She further said that Union government is forcing profitable institutions like LIC to invest their money into the PSU banks which are in huge loss.
“Hard Earned Savings of 38 crore LIC Policy Holders is at risk and will be burdened because Modi Government forcing LIC to invest in IDBI and other banks which are running in loss since years.”
