Blood donation camp organized at Galgotias University

The School of Liberal Education at Galgotias University organized a Blood Donation Camp to promote a culture of altruism and to contribute to the community’s well-being. This event aimed to encourage both students and faculty members to participate in this noble cause, thereby reinforcing the values of empathy, social responsibility, and community engagement.

The Blood Donation Camp was held at the premises of the School of Liberal Education within the Galgotias University campus. The event was planned and executed meticulously with the assistance of professionals from Red Cross Society & National Charitable Trust. The Blood Donation Camp instilled a sense of social responsibility amongst the students. It provided them with an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of society and help those in need. Through their participation, students learned the importance of giving back to the community.

The event encouraged teamwork and camaraderie among students. Many students volunteered to assist in the camp’s organization, which helped develop their organizational and leadership skills. The collective effort in setting up and managing the camp created a sense of unity amongst the students. Blood donation not only benefits the recipient but also the donor.

Donating blood helps in regulating blood circulation, reducing the risk of certain diseases, and maintaining a healthy iron level. Students who participated received health benefits in return for their altruistic act. Students said they felt happy being the donor and that this cause can save life of someone.
