Bollywood Stars Celebrate Independence Day, share snaps with fans

Mumbai(India), 15/08/23: On Tuesday(15th August), Indian celebrities dressed in white, orange, and green, unfurled the Tricolour, and sang the National Anthem to commemorate India’s 76th Independence Day.

Several celebrities took to social media to celebrate the event and the nation’s 76th anniversary of independence. Allu Arjun, Shilpa Shetty, Sara Ali Khan, Raashi Khanna, and others were among those who joined the chorus.

Allu Arjun celebrated with his wife and two children, as well as his production studio’s workers. Everyone was dressed in white for the flag hoisting ceremony.

Shilpa Shetty dressed down in a white kurta, green salwar, and orange dupatta for a flag-raising ceremony with her mother and son Viaan. The family also chanted Jana Gana Mana and raised ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogans. “Vande Mataram,”

Gurmeet Chaudhary joined his wife Debina Bonnerjee and their two daughters in celebrating the day. They were all dressed in white and raised the Tricolour in their building compound.

Jackie Shroff spent the day with schoolchildren. He posted the video and photos from the festivities to Instagram with the comment, “Happy 77th Independence Day. Jai Hind.”

Nimrat Kaur shared a series of images of herself waving and posing with the national flag. She stated, “From childhood till date, three closest and favorite colors to my heart… Nothing like the feeling of holding and standing beneath our beloved tricolour…Happy Independence Day from me to all my fellow Indians all over the world. Jai Hind!! P.S. I’m joined by an unlikely fellow Indian in my last picture.”

Bhumi Pednekar also wished her fans on Instagram, writing, “Best feeling in the world. Happy Independence Day!” Kangana Ranaut shared a snapshot of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose with people surrounding him to wish fans and followers a happy Independence Day.

Whereas, Kunal Kemmu shared a photo of his daughter Inaaya’s drawing of the national flag.
