A formal Book Launch Ceremony of GLBIMR’s Book, “Achieving Sustainable Strategic Advantage” was organized on February 14, 2018.

The book launch was done by eminent Chief Guest, Dr.R.K Khandal, President R&D and Business Development India Glycols Limited, Noida, Former VC, UPTU,  Guest of Honor, Mr. Ashish Patel, Managing Director, MorganFranklin, Consulting USA along with Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, along with the editorial team of the book.
The Book, which is a compilation of handpicked research papers presented in the 2nd International Conference on “Achieving Sustainable Strategic Advantage” (ICASSA-2k17)” organized by GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida, on September 9, 2017, is edited by a team of 4 members led by Dr. Makkar.

 

During her address, Dr Urvashi Makkar quoted that “Good Leaders must be good Readers”, If you are a leader, you should be striving to develop knowledge to improve yourself, your organization, and the people who work for you. Dr. R.K. Khandal Congratulated GLBIMR for the launch of the book & successful organization of Global Talk Series. Dr. Khandal talked about the urgency of improving the quality of education in our country today. He further added that, reading can never ever be compensated with any other mode of learning. This book will surely add value to the learning quotient of all the readers.

 

Concurrently on the same day, GLBIMR concluded the Global Talk Series on Strategic Management, from February 05-14, 2018, with a Valedictory Session, where 12 students: Ankit Kumar Mishra, Aman Kumar Verma, Divita Agarwal, Ishan Mudghal, Bhavya Prabhakar, Kritima Tripathi, Ranu Singh, Seema Priya, Rahul Rout, Shruti Srivastava, Yash Raj Singh and Shivani Singh received Best Assignment Award on Strategic Management on the topic- “Relevance of Strategic Management in today’s Competitive Era , for which they have received Certificates of appreciation during the Valedictory Session.
