British High Commission Interested in Investing 5K crore for industrial development in YEIDA areas

Greater Noida : A high level delegation of British High Commission officials from New Delhi paid a visit to Yamuna Expressway Development Authority to lookout for prospective investment and setting-up Industries in YEIDA area.

The delegation had a requirement of 500 hectares of land which they were interested to develop by setting up industries with an investment of 5000 crore.

Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority CEO Arun Veer Singh had a meeting with the delegation and apprised them about various land pockets available with the authority for industrial use.

The delegation was also informed about other companies that already have a presence in the region like LAVA, Patanjali and others.

Terms and conditions, location, availability, rates, FAR policy and other such important details were also shared with the delegation.

With Jewar Airport project being sanctioned and coming up in YEIDA area, it is expected to boost the economic and industrial development of the area. Better connectivity, proximity to national capital, industry friendly policies and a supportive government at both states and centre is being seen as the factor which might be luring International investors in the region.

The delegation is expected to submit a formal proposal in this regard in September.
