Noida, 30th August, 2022: The demolition of Supertech Twin Towers in Noida Sector- 93A was completed safely and without any mishap on Sunday.

Nevertheless, tenants of surrounding buildings have since reported that windowpanes of several apartments were damaged and cracks emerged in the walls and pillars of many flats.

“Due to the loud noise, the window panes of the houses broke.” The blast in Sector-93A was 101 decibels, although it was 65 dB just 10 minutes before the incident. “The boom hit 65 decibels again after 10 minutes,” a UPPCB official stated.

It is hazardous to one’s health to reach 70 to 80 dB in two to three minutes. At 110 dB, a person begins to become annoyed. It had no effect on individuals, but it did have an effect on the window glass.

According to a Noida Authority expert, many had departed after locking their homes. In the residence, a vacuum is generated. The boom and gas caused by the explosion also created a vacuum, causing the level inside and outside the house to be altered and the glassware to be broken.

Many residences in the ATS and Emerald societies provide information regarding shattered glasses.
