BSE Certification on “Basic Course on Stock Market

GLBIMR under the sagacious guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, has organized a 30 hours Certification Program on “Basic Course on Stock Market” conducted by BSEIL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange. The certification was conducted in two sessions. The first 20 hrs of the certification was conducted from August 26-August 28 and the remaining 10 hrs was conducted from September 3 to September 4, 2016.The Guest Speaker for the certification was Mr. Pullock Bhattacharjee-Vice President ,BSE Institute Ltd and Prof Sanjiv Das, a renowned BSE trainer. The BSE expert trainers imparted the students training on primary and secondary markets,Fundamental and Technical analysis, Trading Clearing and Settlement, Sensex and other indices through theoretical knowledge and hand-on experience of live projects related to stock trading. A Mock Stock competition was also conducted to deliver practical knowledge of the certification.Dr. Urvashi Makkar also addressed the student and encouraged them for Financial Investment Planning in their life and explained the importance of DMAT account for the same. She motivated the students to open DMAT Account and develop a habit of planning their investments which will help them to gain proficiency in long run to develop an additional financial skill set.This certification provided the real time knowledge of stock trading and other financial instruments and it will open the whole new opportunity to the students in the domain of financial market in India and Abroad
