#BSNL JTO Recruitment 2017 through GATE Score: Check eligibility criteria and expected GATE Score

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has issued the recruitment notice for the appointment of 2510 posts of Junior Telecom Officers (JTO). The  recruitment will be done through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Aspirants are required to note that the online registration will start from March 6, 2017. The registration for BSNL JTO can be done through online format at the official website between March 6, 2017 to April 6, 2017.

For the BSNL JTO Recruitment 2017 through GATE Score aspirants need to have BTech. or equivalent in Telecom/ Electronics/ Radio/ Computer/ Electrical/ Information  Technology/ Instrumentation Engineering Or M.Sc in .Electronics)/M.Sc.(Computer Science). It is also important for the aspirants to appear for GATE papers which include CS/EC/EE/IN. Aspirants are required to note that the age limit as on January 31, 2017, the minimum age of the candidates will be 18 years while the maximum age of the candidates is 30 years.

It is important to note that the selection of candidates will be against the vacancies of a particular Circle as per the preference of the candidate. The candidates will be required to choose one circle while filling the application and will be considered for the same. It is important to note that the candidates who are shortlisted will be required to get their documents verified and will be issued call letters thereafter. The mode of selection is through Valid GATE SCORE-2017 which has been conducted by IIT Roorkee, in the month of February 2017. Official Advertisement for BSNL JTO Recruitment 2017

Aspirants applying for GATE 2017  are required to note that admissions in IITs/IISc or other Institutes for M.Tech./Ph.D will be done through GATE 2017. It is important to note that the scores will be advertised separately by the Institutes and GATE 2017 will not take the responsibility of admissions. It is important to note that GATE exams are primarily meant for candidates who have completed their degrees are studying in final year except in some 5 year integrated courses and AMIE etc.).
