Carjacking gang involved in multiple robberies busted in Greater Noida, four arrested

In what could be termed as a great success by Gautam Buddha Nagar police, a team headed by Kaasna station in-charge Avinaash Dixit has finally tasted success in arresting the infamous carjacking gang of Greater Noida.
Lately there has been a rapid increase in carjacking cases in Greater Noida region and police has been trying to identify the culprits.![]()
Though prompt action by Gautam Buddha Nagar police has forced these robbers to leave back four vehicles in past robberies but they would succeed in fleeing each time.
Three Absconding, Four Captured
These robbers worked in a team of seven people out of which four have been captured while others managed to escape taking advantage of dark.
This same gang has recently robbed a vehicle from near Raddison hotel in daylight which was recovered immediately. They were also involved in the robbery where an engineer was shot for trying to evade their attempts.
