Casting director Mayank Dixit Brutally Beaten by Group of Men in Laxmi Nagar

New Delhi (05/07/2023): Mayank Dixit, a casting director and acting instructor, received major injuries to his neck and head after being beaten up by a bunch of guys on Sunday night in the Laxmi Nagar area after an altercation about reversing a car.

According to reports, the accused have yet to be recognised, and an investigation is underway to find them. CCTV cameras in the region are being investigated. An FIR has also been filed with the Delhi Police Department.

Mayank has served as a casting director for Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film Torbaaz. The subject of juvenile suicide bombers is told in the film, which is place in Afghanistan. Dutt plays an army officer who wants to give the ‘children of battle’ hope.

Mayank was also an assistant director on Salman Khan’s 2008 film Yuvvraaj, which starred Zayed Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Katrina Kaif. He was the casting director for Rahul Bose’s Poorna: Courage Has No Limit (2017) and Kartik Aaryan’s Kaanchi (2014).
