CBSE Class 12th Result 2019 Declared: Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora with 499/500 marks top CBSE

Greater Noida:  The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday released the CBSE Board Class 12 results on the board’s official website – cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.

Two girls have managed 499 out of 500 this year. Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora both have scored 98.8 per cent marks. Hansika Shukla is from Delhi Public School, got 99.99 percentage making a tie among both of them.

A total of 83.4% students have cleared the CBSE Class 12 board exams 2019. This year, girls did better than boys by 9%. The total pass percentage of girls is 88.70% while 79.4% boys have cleared the exam. The pass percentage of transgender is 83.3%.

A total of 31, 14,821 candidates had registered for Class 10 and Class 12 board examination this year including 28 transgender. The exams were held at 4,974 centres across India and 78 centres’ abroad.

Around 13 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examination conducted by the CBSE.
